| Our work with partners in these five countries goes far beyond holding workshops and networking forums. Our commitment to conducting follow-up site visits to participants of our workshops consume much time and other resources to ensure that we, too, are engaged at the grassroots to see the issues and results of our partners’ activities. Our site visits involve assessment, meetings with key stakeholders at the grassroots (e.g. community leaders, healthcare providers), provision of advice, technical expertise, materials or funds to help our partners implement their action plans.
In Kenya alone, most of our partners have competed successfully for funds from government and international donor sources. We continue our commitment to helping partners in the five countries above achieve greater outcomes by building community readiness in managing and mitigating the HIV/AIDS epidemic at the grassroots. | |  | |
