Introduction

Kamahuha Anti-Aids project is a community based organization operating in rural and semi-urban communities of kamahuha location; Makuyu division of Murang’a south district in central province. With its office located at kamahuha town. The group was formed in the year 1999 and registered with the relevant ministry in the year 2000.with its mission as below.

Mission

To respond to the challenges facing local community in respect of their needs for Education, fight against HIV/AIDS and the injustices they are exposed to by the social-cultural systems and technological advancement.

Objectives of Kamahuha Anti-Aids project

-Search for more information about HIV/AIDS and disseminate the same to our KAMAHUHA community.
-To provide care for people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) and their dependants.
-To promote & Education Economic interest as well as the general welfare of the Kamahuha community especially the disadvantaged.
-Building good rapport with the government, NGOS and other developments partners.caregivers meeting in Sabasaba ECD centreASS.
